Make sure to get a double room with walk-in shower, good provisions, twin beds. The hotel provides an absolutely fantastic breakfast with excellent coffee, salmon, pancakes.

Would recommend it as we had a very lovely experience here. The location of the hotel was beautiful and magnificent - at a short distance from East Iceland Heritage Museum. You could walk to a mall and a market: D

They gave an a twin room with a lovely view, an extra bed and nice views as we booked. The staff were superfriendly, overall.

The room was tiny and reminded me of a college dorm. The view was of a parking lot, and there was a terrible farm smell wafting in. For the price we paid, the amenities were underwhelming and the spa wasn't included!

The peanut steak was a standout dish, bursting with flavor, and my son adored the kids' pizza. For future guests, I recommend exploring the menu for vegetarian options-they're really good!

It was an ideal choice for a short visit in Egilsstadir at a reasonable price. The warm welcome and room on the 4th floor with mountain views made our stay nice. Make sure to book a table for dinner in advance, as the restaurant can get busy.

The hot tub and sauna were relaxing after a long day. A lovely gem with gorgeous views and a warm ambiance!

The views from the lake view rooms are fine, offering picturesque scenery that can be amazing during the dawn or dusk. Facilities like the hot tub provide a fantastic way to unwind while soaking in the surrounding beauty.

There's a sulfur smell in the bathroom water that can be quite off-putting, especially if you're sensitive to odors. I found the soundproofing between rooms to be lacking, leading to disturbances from neighbors, made it hard to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. The spa facilities come with an additional fee which feels like an extra squeeze when you're already paying for the room.

The double room was pretty spacious, with a comfortable bed, made it easy to get a good night's sleep. Some amenities were lacking, though, like no face cloths, and the TV was a bit glitchy. It had that cozy vibe, but I wished for a better view of the lake since it was more distant than expected.
